if you decode << u2 as the earlier you too...two answers are possible brutus and caesar. it's not a perfect fit. so are you guys on the right track? think.
"<< u2" ==> "left shift u2" ==> y1 ==> either 'yi' or 'yone'
if yi ==> then personality = Pu Yi (the last emperor)
Interestingly googling 'yone' does give a couple of obscure personalities one apparently a person who held the title of the oldest living person in the world.

The Rules
1. I'll give you a cryptic clue. Your job will be to decode it. 2. The cryptic clue may use an arcane code or a code you might already be aware of. Your challenge will be to pick the right code to crack open my cryptic clue. You can take the help of the net to get up to speed about the arcane codes. 3. Usually, the level of difficulty might offer you a hint about whether to use an arcane code or not. 4. There are many levels of difficulty. The highest level is called codi5 you can't crack it. The level of difficulty will be indicated using tags. 5. You get a day to solve a puzzle. The first person to crack a puzzle gets 5 points or a fiver. Sometimes, I might use my discretion and award 10 points to the deserving. 6. Puzzles that haven't been solved will be labeled as Unsolved. The answers for the same will never be disclosed.
You too Brutus, then fall Caesar... Julius Caesar?
ReplyDeleteMarcus Brutus
ReplyDeleteI am too good for you
ReplyDeleteif you decode << u2 as the earlier you too...two answers are possible brutus and caesar. it's not a perfect fit. so are you guys on the right track? think.
ReplyDeleteA thought...
ReplyDelete<< is rewind. So rewind u2 = 2u
Double u = W - George W Bush
That does look more plausible. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking more obscure answers such as
"<< u2" ==> "left shift u2" ==> y1 ==> either 'yi' or 'yone'
if yi ==> then personality = Pu Yi (the last emperor)
Interestingly googling 'yone' does give a couple of obscure personalities one apparently a person who held the title of the oldest living person in the world.
Q - same Q of trylateral twinkle type fame? Welcome!
ReplyDelete<< u2 -> Lesser than u2 -> u1 -> Yuvan
ReplyDeleteYuvan Shanker Raja ???
Taking clue from q...
ReplyDeleteshift 2 places left to 'u' in qwerty keyboard... -> T -> Tesla...
Nikola Tesla ???
The << u2 could be interpreted as part of U2 and so the personality could be BONO (but then QM may say it could be any of the band members).
ReplyDeleteBut maybe BONO could be justified as he fights the cause of inequalities.
ReplyDeletethe least contrived is the perfect fit. and i think siva gets it right for yuvan shankar raja.
ReplyDeletehi. sorry didnt get siva's logic. sm1 pls take trouble to explain. guess must be sth simple but elusive...
ReplyDeletewouldn't a more appropriate clue be '< u2' or 'u < 2' for a decode to 'u1' ? hmm.. looks like creative latitude at work here :-)
